About Us

Faith & Acres Homestead Market is a family-owned small business in Decatur, IL. We (DJ and Kassidi) have two small children, Tayleigh (age 5) and Grayson (age 4). After our family moved onto a 4-acre farm in April of 2023, we quickly got to work on how we can utilize our small patch of land to create handmade goods for others to enjoy. We have 50+ pasture raised chickens and sell their eggs to locals. We also have an adorable herd of 6 Nigerian Dwarf goats. While they are only pasture ornaments currently, they bring us great joy and give us the vision of having an even bigger farm one day. As 2 acres of our land is flat, the dream next year is to be operating a fresh cut flower farm where we will sell to locals and farmer’s markets. Our candle business tops all of that off with some of the best smelling and high-quality candles there is on the market.
